RPS are seeking additional Leakage Field Technicians for our South-East Water contract, covering the Basingstoke, Sussex and Kent area to detect, locate and report both visible and hidden leaks from the trunk main and distribution network. This is truly a great opportunity for an individual to develop their skills and experience with one of the UK’s leading Environmental Consultancies. This is a full time (40 hrs pw) permanent contract and is paying real living wage.

What you’ll be doing
You will be working outside, using both traditional and electronic leak detection equipment to locate water main fittings & taking noise samples using electronic leak detection equipment (for which full training will be provided).
Who we’re looking for?
You will enjoy working outdoors, as most of your work is conducted outside (rain or shine)
A good standard of basic maths and English
Basic IT skills
Willing to work nights, weekends and overtime as required
Have good hearing
Good communication skills
Happy working alone and as part of a team
Full UK or Irish driving licence
