Roles and Responsibilities

• Handle daily administrative HR duties

• Provide support in recruitment processes e.g. posting job ads on job boards, careers pages and social networks; screening resumes and application forms; as well as scheduling interviews with candidates

• Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms

• Organise and file documents

• Payroll computation and submission of CPF contribution

• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Able to commit to full-time 6 months internship

• Pursuing a degree or equivalent

• Proven ability to appropriately handle sensitive information required

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Self-motivated, collaborative and strong focus on service delivery, quality and efficiency

• Well-organized with good time management in completing given tasks

Job Description

• Operation of all audio-visual equipment with the aim to provide high quality technical standards
• Setup and teardown of AV equipment, led wall
• Setup, program and teardown of analog and digital audio mixer at events
• Setup and teardown of lighting
• Ensure that the audio-visual equipment is tested and in correct working order before use at an event
• Investigate equipment faults and recommend actions to rectify
• Maintain audio visual equipment including routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of video and audio equipment, LED video wall, wireless technology, computers, projectors, and video conferencing equipment
• Coordinate integration with specialty audio visual equipment as needed
• Responsible for cord management & safe set up and dismantle
• Provide regular feedback to Company on communication issues and service improvements
• Liaison with project manager regarding the exact audio-visual requirements for events. This will include assistance with PowerPoint presentations, audio and video conferences

We are working with a global engineering client based in Gloucester. The position involves the setting and testing of capital equipment for the Lead Acid Battery Industry prior to despatch, commissioning in our customer’s overseas factories. The role will involve frequent international travel.

In your first few weeks in this Service Technician role, you can expect to:

• Set and test the company's full range of battery assembly equipment
• Final testing and assembly of machinery in preparation for inspection and despatch
• Installation and commissioning of equipment at the clients location
• Train customer's staff at various levels at customer's overseas premises
• Report writing and recommendations following all visits

To apply for this Service Technician role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

• An ONC or HNC in Engineering (advantage)
• Mechanically based skill-set with a proven track record of mechanical assembly and fault diagnosis
• Ability to use measuring equipment such as Micrometre and Vernier callipers with an attention to detail
• The ability to read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings, pneumatic drawings and circuits
