A fantastic opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician, based in Cardiff, to ensure production standards are met and maintained for products before they leave site.

Hours: 07.30 - 16.00 (Mon - Thu) & 07.30 - 14.00 (Fri)

Salary: £28 - £29k per annum

Duties include;

Maintain Quality Management Systems including document control, review and create documents, work instructions, dashboards, and other quality administrative tasks.
Complying with all standards, internal policies and legal regulations.
Carrying out in-process quality inspections and audits.
Identifying and reporting non-conformities.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
Maintain waste management system liaising with external providers.
Measuring equipment - control and calibration.
Assist in non-conformance system maintenance.
Assist in customer complaints system maintenance.
Assist in Quality Management Systems maintenance:

Document control.
Maintain quality dashboards up to date.
Maintain quality documentation up to date.

Create/update standard operating procedures where required.
Provide quality procedures training where required.
Keep training records up to date and maintain training matrix for all departments.
Participate in improvement projects.
Support the Quality Manager in internal and external audit preparation.
Deal/provide support with day-to-day quality issues.
Ensure product compliance with required standards.
Holiday/sickness cover for quality controllers.

Essential Experience

Proven experience of working in a similar role.
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
Understanding of technical drawings (desirable).
Understanding of ISOs in general but particular experience in ISO's 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO
45001 (desirable).
Computer literate - experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Experience of using manual measuring equipment - vernier calipers, micrometers etc.

An excellent opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance Technician (Electrical)

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician you will be proactive and capable of working both independently and as part of a team, with the ability to develop your own skills and those of their colleagues. The primary responsibility is to ensure the successful delivery of the planned maintenance regime, meeting statutory obligations while also providing a reactive breakdown response to balance customer and organisational needs.

Location: Cardiff

Salary: Up to £42,357 (dependent on skills and experience)

Working hours: Rolling 4 on 4 off shift pattern - 12 hour shifts (2 days/2 nights)

Duties & responsibilities of a Facilities Maintenance Technician

Maximising the existing facilities and infrastructure whilst maintaining strict safety standards.
To ensure compliance with statutory regulations and safety requirements.
To carry out preventative maintenance and reactive tasks as scheduled.
To document all allocated maintenance and reactive work.
To undertake training for new technology or systems and mandatory training for business requirements.
To provide escort for contractors and visitors working as required.
To work alongside an established team of technical engineers to deliver best working practices and contribute to passenger throughflow.
Work well with all departments, co-operating and co-ordinating works to ensure that all equipment is optimised and running efficiently.
