The Role:
Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the venue's business goals and objectives.
This role is responsible for, but not limited to the following
- Assist in the setup and tear down of 100% of the venue's assets for all events - Chairs, tables, tents, signage, etc.
- Assist in the day to day cleaning and housekeeping duties around the venue and site
- Diagnose safety issues around the site, help prevent potential safety hazards.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance around the site, buildings, misc projects and landscaping.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- If applicable, driving forklift and/or other company vehicles and complete all required tasks that fall under those positions.
- Assist with the housekeeping of the venue and site including by not limited to: clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors and walls of restrooms, keep all guest facing area free of trash, restock restroom paper materials and hygiene products as needed.
- Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.
- Ensure that venue and outbuildings are cleaned and stocked before gates open.
- Make sure all site signage, tents, tables, chairs, trash cans, etc. are set properly and neatly before gates open.
- Ensure the site and outbuildings stay clean and stocked during events.
- Participate in the venue’s sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.
- Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue - this includes collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Additional tasks as requested by management.
Qualifications:
· Requires a high school diploma/GED.
· An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus.
· Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
· Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting
