About the Role

JBS Australia are currently recruiting 1 experienced Maintenance Fitter to join the team at our Cobram Plant (VIC). This role will be responsible for providing maintenance, leadership and support across the maintenance team and greater business to drive a culture of continuous improvement.

This is a full-time position with annual salary $73,150 to $85,000+ plus superannuation with additional allowances and/or overtime. Wages are paid according to organisational EBA-Industrial Agreement.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Ensuring maximum equipment uptime is achieved by providing effective and efficient mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with optional overtime on Saturdays where available. Key Responsibilities
• Complete basic maintenance tasks, including day-to-day preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Assist in the monitoring and recording of plant/machinery in the Meat Processing plant.

An exciting opportunity for a skilled full time Mechanical Engineering Technician currently exists for our Cobram plant. This is a full time position with the potential to earn $73,150 - $90,000 per annum.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Associate's degree in mechanical engineering technology (MIT), or similar.
A minimum of two years of experience as a mechanical technician in a related industry.
Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs

About the Role

JBS Australia are currently recruiting a Senior Mechanical Engineering Technician to join the team at our Bordertown Plant (South Australia), east of Adelaide. This role will be responsible for providing maintenance, leadership and support across the maintenance team and greater business to drive a culture of continuous improvement.

This is a full-time position with annual salary $70,000 to $120,000 plus superannuation according to organisational EBA-Industrial Agreement.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducts tests of mechanical systems, collects and analyses data, and assembles and installs mechanical assemblies in support of Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Technologists
Assisting Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in the design of mechanical equipment and plant
selecting tools and equipment
Assembling and installing new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools and controls, and hydraulic power systems
Estimating material costs and quantities, and machine requirements
Performing and directing field and laboratory tests
Collecting and analysing data, carrying out complex computations and preparing diagrams
Organising and supervising inspection and maintenance of machines and plant
Ensuring maximum equipment uptime is achieved by providing effective and efficient mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance
