Your new role
Your new role working as a Senior Binder Technician means you will be providing guidance and support to teams in relation to Delegated authority business and assisting in the management of all Internal and Third-Party binding authorities including the monitoring of declarations and bordereaux.
Duties will include preparing new and renewal contracts for all delegated authority business, preparing renewal presentations and statistics for all binding authorities and/or line slips, and provide reporting, addressing DA performance, and ensuring binding authority limits and guidelines are adhered to. Other duties will also include the management of Lloyd's DCOM, DDM and Atlas systems, producing and monitoring quarterly premiums for Third Party binding authorities, issuing triangle statistics and managing and assisting new Coverholders applications. Also, deal with Profit Commission calculations and collections on binders, providing statistics on contracts, territories and lineslips as well as provide management information on agents on a quarterly basis.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Senior Binder Technician or Binder Manager handling International Binders will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have knowledge of general insurance business and be confident in FCA and Lloyd's Market requirements. You will need market, industry and product knowledge and be proactive in keeping knowledge up to date. You will have numeracy and literacy skills as well as communication, organisational and data analysis skills. You will act with integrity, due skills, care and diligence. You will need experience in systems such as Atlas, DCOM, DDM, Lloyd's Crystal, Aims (Lloyd's Audit), PPL, Whitespace and Microsoft Office Suite.

The role will inched the analysis of data under existing Binding Authority Agreements. Dealing with Market statistics (PI / Earned to Incurred etc). Your new role
Your new job working as a Senior Technician will require you to manage own workload and time to maximise efficiency and be able to manage a team by mentoring, training and guiding members of the team. You will report to the Binding Authority Director. Duties will include undertaking ongoing communication with colleagues to ensure timely and accurate production of documentation, chasing and monitoring premiums under terms of trade, diarising, tracking and chasing subjectivities, proposal forms and surveys. Other duties include developing and maintaining relationships with colleagues within the division and across the company, actively participating in regular team discussions and acting as a point of contact for junior members of the team. Further duties include processing and producing debit notes and closings as well as submitting to Bureaux, maintaining electronic filing systems, making and reconciling payments to Bureau under terms of trade, liaising with clients and Underwriters, dealing with complex issues and queries from brokers and clients. Also, providing regular feedback to the reporting manager, ensuring compliance with rules and procedures, assisting with special projects, proactively networking to expand market knowledge and recording Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience as a Senior Technician will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have at least 5 years of insurance experience and proven and practical experience of applying competencies to a level outlined above. You will also need 5 GCSEs at C or 5 and above or A Levels, including Maths and English and Lloyd's Market LM1 and LM2. Desirably you will be working towards your ACII, but it is not essential.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Repair Building Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and managing repair and maintenance projects across the housing stock portfolio. This role involves conducting detailed surveys, preparing reports, and ensuring that all repair work complies with relevant regulations and standards.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Complex Repairs Manager. You will carry out surveys of properties within your specified region, including Damp Mould and Condensation inspections. You will be responsible for diagnosing the cause of complex faults and failures and post inspections supporting your new company to ensure all work is delivered to the highest possible standard and within budget.

What we are looking for,
The successful candidate will be an experienced and knowledgeable Building Surveyor who has the ability to put customers first. Candidates are required to have the following attributes to be successful in this role.

• Experience of managing contractors.
• Excellent standards of customer care and the ability to deliver accurate and clear communications in writing, face to face or by telephone.
• Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, housing, and property management systems.
