We are seeking highly skilled Mechanical/Hydraulics Technician to join our team of passionate professionals who share a common drive to make a difference in the industry.
Mechanical/Hydraulics Technicians are responsible for overseeing and implementing the installation, maintenance, and repairs for the hydraulic components of equipment on Trucks and Plant Machinery.
Hydraulic installations, pto's, pumps, cylinders, hoists, power packs, wet kits, valving Hydraulic repairs, hoses, resealing cylinders
Installations, repairs and services of truck mounted cranes, tailgate loaders
Electrical, wiring up cranes, tailgate loaders, power packs
Fault finding and carrying out annual services on cranes and tailgate loaders
Auto Electrical knowledge
Reading of hydraulic schematics
Undertake hydraulic maintenance tasks during shut down periods; replacement of hydraulic components, pipework installations, inspections, testing of equipment
Troubleshoot hydraulic issues on fixed plant assets.
Assist in the execution, installation, and commission of bespoke projects
Ensure a high level of safe work practices undertaken at site
Responsibilities include but is not limited to:
Installation, maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems
Read blueprints and diagrams while troubleshooting and diagnosing problems
Perform preventative maintenance to avoid operational failures of hydraulic systems
Welding, metal fabrication and electrical assembly
Provide drawing review and suggestions related to part inspection and testing
Use computers and other technologies to investigate and repair hydraulic equipment
Reassemble machines and equipment
Read dials and meters to determine amperage, voltage, electrical output and input at specific operating temperature to analyze parts performance
Operate drill press, grinders, engine lathe, or other machines to modify parts tested or to fabricate experimental parts for testing
