- Loading/dispatching where required
- Dusting, sweeping, and mopping surfaces in their work area including living/working areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and supply closets.
-Ensure all machines operate smoothly, spot, report, and handle errors

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm full time permanent. Overtime may be offered which will include an overtime pay structure.

Salary: Negotiable and annual bonus.

The various types of machines you will work on may include liquid filling machines, shrink wrapping systems, automatic conveying and packaging systems, knowledge of pneumatic systems. Robotics and automation experience in a similar role is essential.

Knowledge and skill requirements include:
* Previous work experience in ISO5 and ISO 7 Clean Room (and be comfortable working wearing a respirator hood and PPE)
* Routine maintenance of associated laboratory, manufacturing, and workshop equipment. · . Including production automation, liquid filling machines, cartoners, shrink wrappers, conveying systems and sealers.
* Completion of documentation to GDP/ GMP Standards using computerised maintenance management systems
* Confidently and assuredly be able to communicate, analyse and collaborate with the wider team to always seek to contribute toward the goal of continuous improvement.
* Be able to work on multiple projects, planned and reactive adopting SCRUM methodology.
* Collaborate with others to always seek out how the team can find a better way
* Be flexible and have a curiosity to learn every day.

Education and experience required for the role:
* Engineering modern apprenticeship / time served (i.e.City & Guilds / BTEC / NVQ Level 3).
* Minimum HNC qualification in engineering
* 5 years proven experience post HNC
* Multi skilled (Elec/Mech)
* Engineering career goal
* Experience of implementing change, process improvement and reducing costs.

You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment on a production line performing several different jobs such as:

• Counting, putting on and adding the required number of flowers, on the belt according to the required production speed
• Preparing for production of products as required
• Sleeving and/or wrapping of bouquets, boxing, strapping and bucket filling
• Packing of bouquets into buckets and or boxes without supervision and checking the specifications in a timely manner
• Noticing quality deviations and informing the Line Leader immediately
• Effective product handling to prevent damage during the production process
• Label the packaging ensuring the correct specifications are adhered to
• Label bouquets, ensuring the correct specifications are adhered to
• Keeping the production floor clean and tidy
• Comply with the requirements of the company Health & Safety Policy
• You will be required to stand for long periods of time.

No previous experience necessary but you must have:

• Good attention to detail
• Fast paced and methodical
• Committed to hit targets
• Speak and understand basic English
• Follow health and safety and hygiene standards

Shift as a Production Operative:
The shift lengths and start finish times are as follows:
AM shift: 8am - 20pm
PM shift: 20pm - 8am
