The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing company based in Uxbridge.

Working hours are:

Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

You will have a 30 minute unpaid breaking meaning you will work a total of 37.5hrs
On Friday you will finish an hour early but will be paid the extra hour as a bonus, however this is based on your attendance for that week.

Duties:
You will be working as an assembly operative in their warehouse.
This will consist of using hand tools to assemble aluminium frames/racking.
You will assemble this based on an instructional photo/manual.

You will also be expected to help with other general warehouse duties such as:
-Loading and Unloading deliveries
-Keeping the warehouse to a tidy standard
-Adhering to site health and safety regulations.

What we are looking for:
-Experience is a bonus but is not essential.
-Someone who can be reliable and punctual
-Someone who lives locally or drives due to the location of the site
-Someone who is happy to work alone or as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have a building or carpentry background and be happy with heavy and physical work, however this is not essential and full training will be given.

This long established and high profile, family owned business company is looking for an experienced Production Planner to join them. There is a salary of £28,000 along with free parking and great benefits including private healthcare, pension scheme and free onsite parking.

What will you be doing as a Production Planner:
Working alongside the Purchasing Manager, you will be delivering weekly production plans to ensure customer demands for products are fulfilled on time. Duties will include:
* Creating up to 3 week rolling production plan including issuing and checking initial drafts with all requirements outlined and making amendments as necessary
* Working in conjunction with the Purchasing and Planning Assistant to ensure all production orders are added and maintained on the ERP system.
* Monitoring the ongoing size of the order book to ensure that the production per line is in hand
* Monitoring production progress through the week, working closely with production to strive to complete the plan in full
* Attending production shift hand over meetings to determine production achievement vs the plan
* When issues arise, discussing options with Production Manager to recover the plan or provide for backup production to utilise available shift staff
* Liaising with external customers as necessary
* Providing detailed weekly report for the parent company regarding production schedules versus demand
* Providing weekly reports of production schedules
* Using and generating sales forecasts to update MRP demands within the company's ERP system

* Strong experience in a similar Production Planner role
* Experience of demand planning and data analysis would be beneficial
* Strong IT skills with excellent skills in Excel
* Experience using an ERP or MRP system, ideally SAP
