Assembly Operator, Larkhall, £25,480 per annum (£12.25 per hour)

We are looking for people of all backgrounds to join our established Production Team in Larkhall covering various tasks & duties in a Assembly Operative position.

As a Assembly Operative you will be tasked with: carrying out visual inspection of parts and components to ensure they are in line with company standards, assembling parts as per work instruction, packing parts in specific formats, recording production data and maintaining housekeeping standards in the work area.

At Job & Talent, we are hiring food production operatives to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern at our clients food production factory based in Kiveton Park, Sheffield S265PF.

Our client is a well known provider of convenience food; your role will be to work on a production line as part of a team creating food products to the highest standard. You may also work in the packing area packaging products, labeling and stacking boxes onto a pallet. Please note that you will be working in a chilled environment, PPE will be provided.

Shift Patterns:

• 05:30-17:30 - 4 on 4 off shift pattern

Pay Rates

• £12.13ph

As a production operative you will need to have:

• Live locally or have your own transport to travel to site as there is no public transport at 05:30am unfortunately
• A good eye for detail and able to follow instructions well
• Happy and able to work in a chilled environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Role of a production operative:

• Working on a production line helping to create or pack various food products. This role requires you to stand for long periods of time and to work in a chilled environment. The role is ongoing with temp to perm opportunities.
