JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure the Production Assembly Line produce within allocated Man-hours & Resources
• To ensure the Production section will Assembled vehicles according to the Target Agreement without any failure and Assembly Defect.

• To achieve the Quality Target set for Assembly Product. Maintain High Standard of Product Quality & Zero Defect from all area. With systematic Approach & Measured the Effectiveness & Preventive Actions are taken
• Enforce and ensure adherence of Safety Guideline and Regulations for Staffs

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional in any field or equivalent.
• Fluent to write and talk in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin as MUST
• More than 5 years working experiences in manufacturing and management line.
• Experience in Automotive Industry’s background (3-5 Years) is a MUST
• Independent with persuasive interpersonal skills and results-driven
• Exhibit strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

We are looking for a Production Engineer to join our team and lead production operations with a focus on efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee manufacturing operations in production lines, ensuring production targets, quality, and cost goals are met.
• Plan production schedules to meet customer requirements for both local and international markets.
• Coordinate with sales and logistics to manage production work orders and delivery timelines.
• Monitor production plans, troubleshoot delays, and provide updates during operational meetings.
• Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and shop floor teams to ensure the availability of raw materials for smooth production flow.
• Develop and implement manufacturing techniques like 5S, Lean, and TPM to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Work closely with the EHS team to address environmental impacts and set improvement targets.
• Ensure the quality of raw materials and finished goods, incorporating quality into every aspect of production.

Job Descriptions:

Accountable to all plant KPI deliverable related matters in the plant operations under your jurisdiction. Manage, plan and able to communicate overall plant operations to the Management and subordinates to ensure productivity, product quality, on time delivery, cost management and manpower efficiency of production and overall productions related matter.

1. Plan, manage and control overall productions activities to achieve daily production output.
2. Take overall charge of all production’s personnel. To liaise closely with Factory Manager and all section HOD/managers on the monthly production planning and to ensure schedule of each order delivery is met.
3. Manage and control overall rejection to achieve zero rejection rate. To ensure high productivity and minimum wastage. Minimize wastage of source raw material, natural resources, finish goods rejection.
4. To plan and implement preventive maintenance for all dipping lines. Responsible for productions, former and plant maintenance. Manage, communicate and monitor the preventive maintenance schedule to ensure minimum unscheduled downtime, build good repo and collaborate with PEM to understand and ensure the machine and equipment are in good conditions.
5. To provide productions reports to FM timely to ensure all productions KPI are delivered. To ensure output and quality of finished goods shall meet the required standards.
6. Ensure all factories consumable are available at all times, to reduce downtime and maximize production time by coordinating with all departments. Plan chemical consumption and production schedule.
7. Control discipline and headcount of departments.
8. Plan, manage and communicate between shifts. Organize and re-deploy workers in times of emergency stoppage.
9. Planning shift, manpower allocation and assessment of worker capability
10. Provide proactive input of improvisation to the productions process flow in manpower management, utilities management and/or all related to productions.

Job Responsibility

• To arrange and supervise daily works for operators and assistants.
• To monitor plant unit process/operation, identify any abnormalities and inform superior.
• To check and record daily chemical consumption and inform superior on dosage changes.
• To check and verify dosing rate of chemicals and follow procedure for chemical preparation.
• To check and record daily scheduled waste inventory.
• To perform transfer of chemicals and scheduled wastes.
• To perform repair works on mechanical equipment including centrifugal sump pumps, dosing pumps, AODD pumps, filter press etc.
• To liaise with Maintenance/PEM team on mechanical and electrical issues.
• To collect wastewater samples and send to laboratory for testing.
• To ensure wastewater treatment areas are clean and follow safety, health and environmental rules and regulations.

CORE RESPONSIBILITY

1. Supervises staff to include hiring, training, evaluating performance, providing compensation recommendations, and determining disciplinary actions when necessary.

2. Supervises function of the batch process that typically involves a single or less complex product line(s), ensures resources and personnel are available and allocated to meet operational demand, responds to employee and management questions and concerns, and monitors safety & quality aspects during batch processing.

3. Develops, analyzes and reviews a variety of operational reports within the function(s) to improve quality, efficiency, cycle times, and volumes, and implements operational changes as required.

4. Develops operating policies and procedures to ensure the efficient use of resources, maintain a safe environment, and produce quality products.

5. Ensures production schedules, quality initiatives, safety targets, efficiency metrics, and other operational measurements are met for the function(s).

6. Ensures compliance with department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

7. Works with Filling supervisors, Warehouse Supervisors, maintenance or management to review production quality, safety, and other operations, implement department activities, and solve operational problems.

8. Assists with reviewing and coordinating general plant operations with shipping, scheduling, inventory management, and sales activities by reviewing reports and operations and other information as required or directed.

9. May read batch ticket or other production information, ensure container are correct, and physically load Finished good according to the batch ticket and steps.

10. May monitor batch processing instruments, equipment, and schedules to ensure product is filled according to specifications.

11. Performs other duties as assigned.
