Summary

The Planner schedules work in accordance with the program schedule.  Deciphers engineering drawings, engineering release notices and engineering orders to determine proper action such as requesting parts through material planning as needed and building parts in the shops.  Assures schedule adherence and program priorities by having both purchased parts and build parts arrive in time to meet the program schedule.  Provides project support to department managers, group leaders, and staff of Hardware Integration and Deployment. What You Will Achieve

Responsible for planning and coordinating various Manufacturing activities with Process Engineers, Supervisors, and Managers involving multiple site Manufacturing departments.

Duties include managing Manufacturing cGMP documentation system, planning and scheduling batch/buffer activities to support multiple clinical/commercial Manufacturing operations, project manage special projects and manage cGMP sampling plans to support clinical/ commercial programs, products, and projects. • Interface with management and team leads across Manufacturing departments and Technical Operations to optimize Manufacturing operations schedule based on upstream/downstream processing requirements, equipment, and staffing constraints.

• Re-prioritize and schedule production activities when unplanned disruptions occur in 24x7 operations. 

• Decisions must be timely and minimize disruptions to multiple clinical and commercial biologics production areas with limited/shared resources.

• In addition, responsible to lead/facilitate the weekly production planning meeting to ensure the day to day operational plan is communicated and successfully executed. 

• Proactively identify and escalate to senior management unplanned programs and projects that disrupt planned production activities in multiple vaccine programs.

• Coordinate the issuance, tracking, and review of batch records and other controlled documents to ensure target product-based cycle times are met.  Complete batch scaling calculations in master batch records and author cGMP documents as required to meet plan of record.  Strong understanding of cGMPs to assist in the review of Manufacturing records for completeness and accuracy.  Support programs and projects that require Manufacturing input/resources. 

• Prepare and place purchase orders for supplies and materials necessary for Manufacturing.  Resolve invoice, receiving problems, and expediting of orders.  Manage and optimize IMEx systems that impact consumables/disposables required for clinical and commercial Manufacturing operations. 

• Lead and manage projects and programs that impact production plan of record as assigned by management.  Upon assignment of the project/objective, develop an action plan/schedule, present updates, implement, and verify achievement of project objective.

• Train and develop new Manufacturing Planners in area of expertise. Demonstrate proficiency in other Manufacturing areas to backfill and support based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Applicant must have HS Diploma with 6 years of relevant experience; OR an Associate's degree with 4 years of experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of experience

• Experience with quality records (i.e., batch records, procedures, forms, etc.)

The Production Lead Coordinator, Manufacturing is required to perform multiple functions within all work streams of the manufacturing plant, including the ability to perform all functions of the Production Operator, Manufacturing. Primarily, the Production Lead Coordinator, Manufacturing will coordinate and monitor all production, quality, and shipping processes. The Production Lead Coordinator, Manufacturing is responsible for providing the production team members with print ready files and order details to ensure Done Right and On Time production output. The Production Lead Coordinator, Manufacturing will assist the Assistant Manager, Manufacturing, in managing, monitoring, and facilitating production processes in all work streams.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Intake, track and log production jobs for all work streams
• Provide print ready production files and complete order details
• Provide order scheduling and routing information to Production team members

JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Manufacturing Representative’s primary functions are to assure manufacturing operations meet the quality system requirements, product is released to sterilization and shipping after review of documentation and assisting Quality engineers with quality issues. This position will also provide training, guidance, and input on quality issues to the manufacturing floor. This position will also audit compliance to the quality policy and procedures. The incumbent will participate in continuous improvement and other plant initiatives as needed in support of business goals. This position reports directly to a Quality Engineer.

HOURS: 7AM - 7PM

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

• Performs review of manufacturing documentation

• Releases product to the next stage of manufacturing or shipping

• Follows up on manufacturing issues with appropriate parties

• Perform complete inspection of product according to applicable specifications

• Reports issues to the Quality Engineers and assist as needed with quality related issues

• Document all inspections as required

• Update all reports and databases as required for reporting and tracking purposes

• Possess knowledge of Quality System Regulations

• Ensure manufacturing associates are properly trained using documented inspection techniques

• Must perform duties and maintain knowledge to conduct inspections and tasks among all manufacturing/molding departments

• Apply and interpret ANSI Z1.4 and other sampling plans for predicting percent defective and lot acceptance criteria

• Conduct routine product and process audits to assure compliance to the quality system.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Hold self-accountable to follow all safety policies & procedures

SUMMARY:  
This position is responsible for maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. It requires an essential understanding and control of the production process, accurate record-keeping, and general line maintenance and staffing. Specific responsibilities include checking daily production orders to ensure fulfillment of customer orders, ensuring every position is filled before start-up of the production line, overseeing Team Member morning exercises and job rotation to facilitate ergonomics, and ensuring all machinery is performing to the highest standard possible. Other responsibilities include ensuring all workstations have passed USDA Inspection, promoting safety on a daily basis as well as through monthly safety meetings, and ensuring accurate shipments, rotation of inventory, and proper coding of products. Additionally, this position is responsible for knowing and communicating company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members, providing encouragement to Team Members to build the best team possible, and the critical ability to perform human relations functions such as training, retaining, and counseling on personal and professional problems. Other duties include overseeing various processing operations and working with other supervisors in solving problems, keeping records of reworked or returned products, providing continuous education on the importance of quality, and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.

REQUIREMENTS:  
Education: High school diploma; education beyond high school, including special training, vocational school, and/or college courses is preferred.  
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are helpful.  
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills.  
Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.  
Travel: 1-5 trips per year.
