- Receives, examines, verifies, and identifies complex categories of materials and equipment, such as those which are toxic, radioactive, perishable, classified, high-valued equipment, precious/strategic metals, and complex electronic or mechanical equipment, assemblies, and components
- Maintains an aggressive surveillance inspection program on stored/on-hand items. Verifies items/equipment are properly identified and marked/tagged
- Receives, examines, and determines condition of a wide variety of complex items and materials to be turned in/removed. Performs most complex disposal tasks, such as those required in dealing with reuse, salvage, and sales preparation of a wide variety of complex items and materials
- Monitors special programs, computerized listings, and documentation/records. Monitors the Repair Cycle, Time Change, and Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) programs. Uses and maintains tools
- Operates electric, LPG, or diesel powered fork lift trucks capable of lifting loads weighing less than 10,000 pounds as high as 168 inches. Utilizes safety and security practices and procedures following established rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work area
