Fill Equipment

• Monitors equipment and controls of Fill and Material Handling System; monitors inputs (air dryer, compressor, chemical flow, vacuum pressure, etc.) and makes the appropriate system adjustments.

• Monitors equipment and controls of the Mass Spectrometer and handles rejected shells accordingly.

• Changes over equipment for various models.
• Inspects shells (critical dimensions, visual checks) and records results per First Article Instructions and/or Work Instructions if required; makes appropriate system adjustments as a result of the inspection process.

Packaging System

• Monitors equipment and controls of Packaging Machine, Print and Apply Labeler, Palletizing Machine, and Stretch Wrap Machine.
• Manually places literature and hanger hook into cartons.
• Maintains equipment performs required Preventative Maintenance per Work Instructions.
• Changes over equipment for various models.
• Inspects un-cartoned and packaged units and records results per First Article Instructions and/or Work Instructions if required; makes appropriate system adjustments as a result of the inspection process.
• Manually loads/unloads units onto/off of the conveyor in the event of a Material Handling equipment breakdown.

Summary

The Planner schedules work in accordance with the program schedule.  Deciphers engineering drawings, engineering release notices and engineering orders to determine proper action such as requesting parts through material planning as needed and building parts in the shops.  Assures schedule adherence and program priorities by having both purchased parts and build parts arrive in time to meet the program schedule.  Provides project support to department managers, group leaders, and staff of Hardware Integration and Deployment. What You Will Achieve

Responsible for planning and coordinating various Manufacturing activities with Process Engineers, Supervisors, and Managers involving multiple site Manufacturing departments.

How You Will Achieve It

• Lead and manage batch/buffer preparation activities to support clinical/commercial Manufacturing involving multiple areas/products. 

• Utilize automated systems to plan and monitor production activities (LIMS, Delta V, MES, SAP). 

• Interface with management and team leads across Manufacturing departments and Technical Operations to optimize Manufacturing operations schedule based on upstream/downstream processing requirements, equipment, and staffing constraints.

• Re-prioritize and schedule production activities when unplanned disruptions occur in 24x7 operations.

• Prepare and place purchase orders for supplies and materials necessary for Manufacturing.  Resolve invoice, receiving problems, and expediting of orders.  Manage and optimize IMEx systems that impact consumables/disposables required for clinical and commercial Manufacturing operations. 

• Lead and manage projects and programs that impact production plan of record as assigned by management.  Upon assignment of the project/objective, develop an action plan/schedule, present updates, implement, and verify achievement of project objective.

• Train and develop new Manufacturing Planners in area of expertise. Demonstrate proficiency in other Manufacturing areas to backfill and support based on business needs.

The Production Lead Coordinator, Manufacturing is required to perform multiple functions within all work streams of the manufacturing plant, including the ability to perform all functions of the Production Operator, Manufacturing. Primarily, the Production Lead Coordinator, Manufacturing will coordinate and monitor all production, quality, and shipping processes. The Production Lead Coordinator, Manufacturing is responsible for providing the production team members with print ready files and order details to ensure Done Right and On Time production output. The Production Lead Coordinator, Manufacturing will assist the Assistant Manager, Manufacturing, in managing, monitoring, and facilitating production processes in all work streams.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

What Assembly contributes to Cardinal Health

Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.

Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production to put together component parts to make assemblies, sub-assemblies or completed units, using standard operating procedures. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.

Job Summary

The Associate I, Assembly plays a key role in the assembly process of products including the verification of components and compliance with quantity and quality standards. The Associate I, Assembly conducts quality inspections on the assembly line in accordance with quality specifications, reports defects and investigates the route cause. This job operates equipment that packages materials or products by inserting them into containers or filling containers from spouts or chutes. The Associate I, Assembly tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards.

Responsibilities

• Sets up workstations as directed by Captain/Designee while complying with all GMP’s, policies, procedures, and safety rules.
• Assembles product packages per DHR, special instructions, and video imaging.
• Verifies components in the assembly process to ensure proper selection and that quality and quantity standards are met.
• Inspects components for debris, and or any other potential quality defect and reports defects as needed to management and the quality team.
• Performs duties in compliance with all safety rules and regulations required by the Company, Local, and State and Federal provisions.
• Complies with the NCI & Defect Investigation Form process to ensure proper management and resolution of quality issues.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience, preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.

What you need to succeed:

• Stationary Engineer Class is an asset.

• Enrolled in SMA or SMT (BOMA) or Stationary Engineer 4th-B Class; Stationary Engineer 4th-A Class an asset.

• Building technician certificate and/or instrumentation and control certificate.

• Experience in physical plant operations, HVAC, and other related equipment, preferably in an office building or mixed-use environment.

• Thorough knowledge of general maintenance procedures, current technology, electrical/mechanical systems, and blueprint reading & comprehension.

Job Description:

• Perform troubleshooting and repairs required for the maintenance and upkeep of equipment such as, but not limited to, replace belts and filters, lubrications, minor part replacement and troubleshooting of minor mechanical/electrical in adherence with local electrical fire and safety codes to maintain equipment in good working order and limit the opportunity for incurring major repair bills.

• Secure Bayshore Shopping Centre property against loss due to theft, fire, liability claims and prosecutions resulting from operations by ensuring all health, safety and security procedures are adhered to and areas of concern are reported to the appropriate parties in a timely manner to limit exposure to liability and loss.

• Monitor central plant including auxiliary and related equipment and water treatment by checking all major mechanical controls confirming they are in good working order to ensure a comfortable environment for clients.

• Inspect all central equipment and Life Safety equipment, which includes testing of fire protection devices and auxiliary/emergency power systems on a regular basis and report any problems or unusual findings to supervisor to minimize damage and cost of repair to all building equipment. Test fuel systems as well.

• Respond to clients’ concerns regarding HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repair issues by solving problems or making recommendations as required to reduce repair costs and ensure a high level of customer service to clients.

• General maintenance of all site mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, such as but not limited to chillers, boilers, heat pumps, air conditioners, emergency generators, induction units, VAV systems.

• Report and log keeping of mechanical systems on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis as required.

• Other duties as assigned.
