KPI Recruiting are on the look out for an Assembly Operative for our client based in Bolton.
As an Assembly Operative your working hours and days are:
• Monday- Thursday
• Friday potential overtime
• Varied hours
The rate of pay as an Assembly Operative is:
• £11.50 p/h
Duties and responsibilities as an Assembly Operative are:
• Building prototypes and testing them (includes ability to solder, assemble mechanical parts and use test equipment)
• Collect data from long term experiments and tests
• Understanding specifications
• Repaid PCB’s from production
• Building/ installing production equipment
• General warehouse duties, eg cleaning area
• Ordering components to keep R&D stock maintained
• Some PC knowledge, eg Microsoft Word (writing up reports), Mircosoft Excell (spreadsheets), Outlook (keeping in touch with team members, customers and suppliers)
The ideal candidate for an Assembly Operative would need:
• Previous experience in soldering, assembling of mechanical parts and testing equipment
• Previous experience as an Assembly Operative
• Work under own initative
• Ability to work well individually or in a team environment
• Good eye for detail
