The Faculty of Business and Creative Industries is the largest faculty in the University of South Wales, spread across 3 campuses in Cardiff, Pontypridd and Newport.
Our Creative Industries courses are based in our purpose-built facility, in Central Cardiff where over 2,500 students study a wide variety of creative courses from Fashion to Games, Journalism and Film.
We are seeking a flexible and adaptable Technical Instructor to support the delivery of our courses, working with students, academic staff and partners on our Cardiff campus to deliver support for a variety of creative subject areas.
Working as part of a highly skilled team, you will be responsible for providing in-depth instruction to students across the faculty on our specialist spaces, such as TV, radio and live streaming studios, as well as a wide range of portable equipment used for filmmaking.
Strong team working skills will be essential in this role which will involve working with both technical and academic colleagues as well as other teams across the university to support the delivery of the full range of current and future FBCI undergraduates and postgraduate courses.
This is a full-time, permanent post, working both on-campus and on location, as required with occasional evening and weekend work.
