Gi Group are looking for Assembly Operatives to work in the production department of a large worldwide manufacturer, based in Cheltenham (GL51). Temp to Permanent positions with potential for progression within a growing company.

Job Details for an Assembly Operative:
* £11.44 per hour, paid weekly
* Monday - Thursday: 8am - 5pm
* Friday: EARLY FINISH: 8am - 1pm
* 30 minute lunch break + 15 minute additional break
* Experience desirable but not essential
* Dexterity based
* Based on a production line, assembling goods. Using drills, glue guns and other tools to assist with the build.
* Full induction provided - Manual handling training, HSE training.
* Steel toe cap boots required for site

We are recruiting a Production Operator for our successful manufacturing client based in Yate, South Glos. Working as part of a small but friendly team and reporting into the Production Manager, you will be working as part of a small team on a production machine.

Working in a busy and fast paced environment, duties will involve

• Loading materials onto machines & running them
• Taking finished goods off machine and quality checking them
• Boxing, packaging and labelling goods
• Loading onto pallets and preparing for despatch

This would suit someone who has previous production or warehouse experience and has a good eye for detail and enjoys working in a fast paced environment. Working as part of a busy warehouse team and reporting to the night shift supervisor, this role would suit someone who has previous experience of material handling and holds a current Combi lift FLT licence or Counterbalance licence (will be put through a conversion).

Duties of the Forklift / Warehouse Operator will involve:
