Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and draw up Production Schedules
- Monitor the production process and adjust as necessary
- Manage labour budgets and KPIs linked to Safety, Quality, People, Sustainability and Performance
- Monitor Productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control procedures
- Ensure client orders are completed on time and that quality standards and targets are met
- Collate and analyse data, putting together production reports
- Supervise and motivate a team of workers
- Review employee performance and identify training needs
- Undertaking and managing of monthly stock counts
- Ensure Goods in and Dispatch processes are upheld, including the use of daily check lists

We are seeking to recruit a Factory Production Manager who will work for The London Door Company. This role will report into the managing director and will be managing a team of 20 employees.
Main aspects of the role:
- Plan and draw up Production Schedules
- Monitor the production process and adjust as necessary
- Manage labour budgets and KPIs linked to Safety, Quality, People, Sustainability and Performance
- Monitor Productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control procedures
- Ensure client orders are completed on time and that quality standards and targets are met
- Collate and analyse data, putting together production reports
- Supervise and motivate a team of workers

The Person:
- Ability to 'get things done' in an efficient and timely manner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take ownership and responsibility
- Must be able to work proactively and under pressure
- Excellent reporting skills with a keen eye for attention to detail
- Experience with continuous improvement techniques, Lean & Six sigma advantageous
- Previous experience creating and maintaining production schedule
- Experience working with timber and painting systems, including the use of spray booths
- Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience building and managing teams of production employees
