The Role
As the Head of Production Engineering you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for guiding our production facilities through a significant period of change.
Day-to-day, you'll lead on the strategy to design, planning and deployment of automated manufacturing capabilities.
- Lead in the transformation to an industry 4.0 operating environment
- Lead and direct the engineering platform support teams across sites
- Develop and manage the supply chain requirements
- Provide technical and engineering support to the operations team
- Make recommendations for facility capital expenditures in support of wider strategy
This position involves travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements
Experience required of the Head of Production Engineering
- Strong background in production engineering
- Experience of introducing advanced manufacturing / automation systems
- Experience of leading multi-discipline teams
- Have lead business through change / transformation
Qualifications for the Head of Production Engineering
- Degree qualified in relevant engineering subject
- Chartered engineer status or working towards

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
