SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the supervision of Production Supervisors and Team Members for quality safety and any additional assignments deemed appropriate by senior management for this position. Work with department heads to meet production quality yields goals and metrics goals while at the same time ensuring the maintenance of labor standards and quality of performance and product; inspect and maintain a high degree of competence in the areas of housekeeping safety sanitation security and food safety; manage evaluate and train production supervisors; and oversee all designated shift operations and any other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Operations Manager The individual in this position must work closely with the Senior Leadership team in achieving objectives; accept full accountability assignments and day-to-day department responsibility; must be a team player and demonstrate exemplary people skills. This position will be responsible for covering operations management vacations/absences across various shifts (1st ,2nd, and 3rd). The Senior Supervisor will be required to learn and mange across all production departments. Ensure compliance with all human resource and safety policies food safety sanitation and all other duties as determined by management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Must have general knowledge of production operations and techniques; food safety; product yields and USDA regulations.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
- Software: Microsoft Office Suite, EIM, and SAP
- Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual skills helpful.
- Travel: Minimal
- Supervisory Skills: This person is responsible for supervising a groups of team members who perform various production tasks or activities.
- Special Skills: Team Leader problem solving and special projects.
- Other requirements: good attendance and safety record. Extra consideration given to team members with technical skills; must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork; ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.

ADDITIONAL INTERNAL REQUIREMENTS:
- No more than four (4) attendance points on an eight (8) point policy.
- No written warnings in the last six (6) months.
- No suspensions on record in the last twelve (12) months.
