Milli is a new company that creates regenerative materials for interior design. This role will assist with the production of mycelium products from start to finish. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their work, with tasks ranging from laboratory work to machining, carpentry, and substrate processing. No experience in mycelium cultivation is required. Time commitment is 20+ hours per week with flexible scheduling. As the company grows, there will be opportunities to take on a larger role. The work is on-site at our facility in Jurong East.
Responsibilities
- Laboratory work, including maintenance and propagation of live fungal cultures using aseptic techniques
- Programming and supervising CNC milling machine
- Prototyping of new product models and designs
- Preparation and processing of bulk substrate materials
- Proficiency in CAD or vector graphics programs required.
