Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Production Extrusion Line Operator working with an established company on the outskirts of Brecon.
The company is a leader in the Global Fly-Fishing market who are entering an exciting period of growth with new Manufacturing equipment, processes and products within a recently refurbished working environment.
The ideal candidate will be technically minded; with reasonable computer skills and qualifications including mathematics would be beneficial but are not essential.
However, you must have experience of and be comfortable with using computers and machinery, reading data and using measuring equipment.
The ideal candidate will be expected to work in an industrial production environment.
Key Duties:
* Operating production line of fly-fishing lines
* Maintaining production data
* Quality checks
Ideally the successful applicant will possess the following skills / attributes:
* Prior direct / hands-on experience with Extrusion machinery preferable
* Essential to have experience working with factory production machinery
* Demonstrated computer literacy
* A good listener, analytical thinker and has the ability to effectively communicate and deal with people at all levels of the company
* Experience of delivering exceptional results to tight deadlines
* Knowledge of fly fishing would be a distinct advantage
Working Hours:
* 40 hours of work per week
* You will be working a 3-shift system on a weekly rotation Monday- Friday OR
* A week 1 and week 2 shift pattern which will be days and afternoons. Week 1 6am-2pm 5 days a week and Week 2pm - Midnight 4 days a week with every Friday off. Overtime available.
* You must be flexible to either shift pattern

* £13.00 per hour + 22% Shift allowance
* £32,988.80 per annum
