**Job Title: Brake Press Setter/Operator**
**Location:** Tamworth
**Job Type:** Full-time, Temp to Perm
**Salary:** £13.00 - £15.00 per hour
**Working Hours:**
* Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
* Friday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Workforce is seeking a dedicated and skilled Brake Press Setter/Operator to join our on-site team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating our brake press machinery, ensuring all components meet our stringent quality standards, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and performing pre-press activities.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Operate brake press machinery to produce high-quality components with a right-first-time philosophy.
* Produce components from drawings and planning route cards, ensuring the highest quality and adherence to routed times.
* Demonstrate a proactive and innovative approach to supporting the team, solving problems, and contributing to continuous improvement.
* Accurately interpret technical drawings and use handheld inspection equipment such as height gauges and vernier calipers for quality control.

**Requirements:**
* Previous experience working with Amada brake presses.
* Ability to produce high-quality components from technical drawings.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to teamwork and continuous improvement.
* Competence in using handheld inspection equipment for quality control.
