You will be specifically responsible for assisting the Laundry Production Manager in the operational delivery of linen production for patient’s, visitors and staff at NUH.

Under the direction of the Laundry Production Manager, the Shift Manager is specifically responsible for the overall running, planning/administering and delivering a full service from the on-site laundry at City and a related linen service operation across the Trust and to external contracts as appropriate.

The Shift Manager will also be required to assist in the development and administration of policies and procedures relating to receiving, processing and delivery of laundry items in accordance with HTM 01-04 and other relevant British standards including BSEN 14065.

The main duties of the role cover day to day management of the laundry operatives and a team of team leaders.

We are currently searching for a practical and hands on individual who’s eager to get stuck in. You will be working as part of a production team in the manufacture and assembly of high-end bespoke kitchen cabinets. Full training will be provided and you will be taught how to operate CNC machines.

Games Workshop is looking for a Planning Manager to work at our site in Nottingham. Reporting to the Manufacturing Planning and Supply Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring the planning team creates and communicates production schedules for each of our manufacturing areas that are efficient and achievable, on time, every time.

Working closely with the wider business, including Manufacturing, Materials Control, and Logistics, you will optimise the process from work order to delivery to the warehouse of all lines. You will manage the scheduling of goods inbound and outbound for each of our factories in line with requirements, capacity, and location.

You will be passionate about using your people management skills to lead an established team that plays a vital role in supporting our manufacturing teams in continuing to make the best fantasy miniatures in the world!

Production Manager required immediately to join a manufacturing company in Nottingham. The role will being involve being responsible for the day to day operations within the business.

The role will involve:
- Overseeing all aspects of production across a manufacturing company
- Managing the day to day activities of both supervisors and the team members
- Review and improve systems and procedures
- Implement a good working culture and recruit new members of staff
- Developing strategic goals to achieve business objectives
- Reporting directly to the directors of the business
- Monitor KPIs to oversee staff performance

The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience within a production manager position
- Have previously worked in a manufacturing company and environment

Day shift: 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Thursday and 8.00am – 3.00pm on Friday
