Product Security Assurance Engineer Preston £47k-£55k + Benefits

My client are a multinational aerospace, defence and information security company, they are currently looking for a number of Product Assurance Engineers to join their team based in Preston.

The ideal candidate will be a pro-active problem solver with excellent communication and IT skills. You will have the ability to coordinate and manage programmes, forging relationships with all stakeholders and with the experience of delivering to customers requirements, within timescales and budgets.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting engagement with the GCAP International Government Organisation (GIGO) as required across the engineering lifecycle meet the Secure by Design policy objectives
• Supporting the Engineering Disciplines, contributing to achieving assurance to the GIGO, ultimately achieving a Security Authority to Operate for the GCAP System
• Identifying the MODs requirements for assurance of the GCAP system
• Create a plan of how these requirements will be addressed within and across the programme
• Manage and act as the internal review for the assurance deliverables

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Degree educated in a STEM discipline or HND/HNC or time served experience with a clear understanding of the Engineering Lifecycle
• Sound experience in a systems integration environment
• Knowledge of security accreditation/assurance processes and activities, although knowledge or airworthiness or quality processes may be beneficial

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Model Based Engineering approaches and the supporting methods and toolsets.

Job Description 

As a Product Analyst you will be at the heart of creating scalable platform tools that bring NielsenIQ’s data to the heart of the decisions our clients make every day. Responsibilities  

• Partner with the product and delivery leads to understand needs, translate them into requirements, and apply that knowledge to solutioning and work with the business on process efficiencies 

• Work closely with the Product owner to breakdown complex high-level scope into easy to understand and unambiguous business requirements 

• Provide support to Product Owners in defining JIRA Stories within the Product backlog to document requirements in a standardized and consistent format 

• Development of acceptance criteria for JIRA stories 

• Manage Requirements Backlog  

• Provide Product Leadership with relevant reporting and metrics of backlog and delivery 

• Support roadmap, project development, planning and reporting

Qualifications

Introduction:

As a Digital Manufacturing Senior Analyst, you will support in the definition and alignment of digital aspirations among Fab leadership. In this role you will support in the collaboration, consolidation, refinement, and refreshment of Butterfly portfolio of use cases (source: bottom-up, outside in). You will report to the Digital Strategy Snr Manager and develop the strategies in setting up the approaches (ideation, prioritization, PoC, Scale-up readiness, Scaling and sustain) and operationalize.

Your Job

• Translate high-level strategic goals and objectives into actionable use cases for digital manufacturing initiatives.
• Collaborate among cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between strategic goals and operational deliverables through implementation of Digital manufacturing projects.
• Work with technology partnership group, Fab engineers, data scientists, and specialists to understand and translate technical concepts into potential use cases across the Fabs.
• Develop business cases, financial models, and return on investment (ROI) analysis to evaluate potential investments in digital manufacturing initiatives.

• Support in the strategic analysis to develop, refine, and refresh Butterfly portfolio of use cases.
