The role
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in upholding Huons Food Safety and Quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

Implementing and enforcing good manufacturing practices in line with Quality Assurance policies and procedures.
Conducting rigorous hygiene checks to ensure compliance with established standards.
Performing routine inspections, including label, weight, and box checks.
Executing thorough product and quality assessments, promptly addressing and escalating any issues related to product quality.
Ensuring strict adherence to temperature regulations at all times.

Located in Ingleburn, this is a full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday, on the factory floor along side a wonderful and supportive team.

Machine Operative with IMMEDIATE START!

Working in a factory that manufactures food packaging, your duties will be rotated around various different machines that form packaging, The changing of material once diminished, constant quality checking of the formed products. Reporting of any issues with the product to Technical, the ability to take guidance and follow instructions from team members is essential.

False Nails, Jewellery, False eyelashes, and facial piercings are not permitted.

You will be issued Hair nets, protective ear defenders and eyewear which will need wearing at all times on site.

Regular pay increase and performance reviews are given to rise up the internal pay scale.

Days:
Monday to Thursday – 05:45 am until 2:00 pm.
Friday – 05:45 am until 12:45 pm.

Friday – 12:30 pm until 7:30 pm.

The hours of work and shift patterns are: 08:00 – 17:00 or 07:30 - 16:30

Main Responsibilities:

As Production Quality Control Manager you will report to the Head of Operation and be responsible for supporting the production team. These will include:

• Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the team
• Identifying and proactively removing any potential health and safety risks
• Reporting and conducting investigations in line with company policies
• Controlling the product quality and standards required under contract and customer specifications by leading a team of Champions as they complete various roles and ensuring the smooth day-to-day service of the business and customers is maintained
• Communicating team objectives and goals and ensuring the Champions team completes tasks to the agreed standards and specifications
• Producing and delivering presentations directly to the end customer
• Attending customer sites and premises and representing the business
• Conducting and leading customer-quality panels
• Conducting audits aligned to specifications to ensure compliance with contractual and business standards
• Providing feedback to peer managers on concerns and benefits to identified standards and processing
• Working with the Operational and Technical teams on specifications
• Handling first-level HR responsibilities for the team, such as return to work, absence management, and performance management
• Investing your time in coaching and developing the Champions and your fellow peers on what good looks like to ensure the highest standard of service is delivered across the required operational working hours
• Ensuring that the skill set within the entire Champion team is maximized to cover every aspect of business requirements with contingency and upskilling for absences and holidays, optimizing service and efficiency
• Working alongside operational and function teams, FLMs, engineers and technicians, liaising with contractors, and executing plans safely and efficiently
• Proactively identifying solutions using insight, experience, as well as technical reports and audits to ensure that the customer expectations are met and operationally we keep moving forward.

Food Production Role Immediate start.

You will be responsible for inspecting produce on a conveyor belt making sure they are all up to standard; you will also be responsible for cutting produce down to size, packing produce and preparing for dispatch.


Applicants must have order picking experience, be literate and numerate, and be capable of high levels of accuracy. Experience with Powered Pallet Trucks is preferred, but not essential.

This is Long Term Ongoing work

This role is Monday to Friday 07:00 start. shifts will be 8 hours daily.

This role pays £11.44 per hour PAYE plus 28 days holiday
