Product Manager
As our Product Manager you will play a pivotal role in transforming and enhancing digital services that ensure citizens over the state pension age receive the support they need to live comfortably.
Pay between £52,412 - £63,517, plus 27.9% employer pension contributions worth over £17,000, hybrid working, and great work life balance. Includes flexi-time with up 3 extra days off a month.
Location
Your choice of; Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield. We work a hybrid model: some time in an office, some time at home.

You and your role
As a Product Manager working within our retirement portfolio, your role will be about ensuring people over state pension age can plan for and secure all the support they need to live a life without unnecessary hardship.
It's a high-profile product transformation area for us, with complexity.
You'll be managing one of our products relating to many million citizen records and the migration of those from legacy systems to a modern and sustainable profile.
You own and manage the products for our team so you will be responsible for making evidenced-based strategic and tactical product decisions and making key priority calls.
You will also be actively involved in developing the product strategy, owning the roadmap and communicating success to stakeholders and users. Sometime that will mean defending controversial decisions about your product, and using the relationships you've built to get things done.
Your Essential Skills:
- You have experience of creating and communicating a vision and gaining stakeholder buy in.
- Have worked with users to identify user needs and represent the user in all decision making.
- Have made effective decisions based on incomplete information using a range of suitable techniques.
- Experience of working with a range of specialists in multidisciplinary teams.
- Have experience of prioritising backlogs based on user needs, value and effort.

In return for your skills, we pay £52,412 - £63,517 per annum.
