We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As a Sr. Operator II supporting Packaging, you will be trusted to work on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing packaging machinery/equipment at Sinking Spring, PA.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
• Monitor, evaluate, and adjust processes or packaging equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Operate equipment that packages materials or products by inserting them into containers or filling containers from spouts or chutes.
• Complete the batch records and associated documentation
• Work in a coordinated, computerized manufacturing environment. Tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards. Tasks are completed in compliance with all regulatory requirements
• May participate in program or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to improve program quality, cost, and scheduling

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• Work hours: M-F 2pm – 10pm

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Prior Machine Operating experience
• Able to lift up to 20lbs.
• Able to collaborate in a team environment
• Able to work Overtime on Weekends

As Supervisor, Production supporting Manufacturing Production you will be trusted to manage or assist with managing various production activities (e.g., assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.) at our Manufacturing Facility in Sinking Spring, PA USA.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Plans, directs, and monitors production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.
• Liaises with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, etc. as input to developing production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources.
• Plans, prioritizes, and manages production line maintenance/downtime to minimize disruptions.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• 2 Years of Relevant Experience
• 1 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
• Work hours: 2nd Shift; Monday-Friday; 2:00pm-10:00pm
