The event operations manager typically oversees the logistical and operational aspects of events. Responsibilities may include:
1. Planning: Coordinate and manage event logistics, such as venue selection, equipment rentals, and vendor management.
2. Budgeting: Develop and manage budgets for events, ensuring expenses stay within limits.
3. Team Management: Supervise event staffs, delegate tasks, and ensure team understands their roles.
4. Logistics: Organize transportation, accommodations, and schedules for participants, speakers, and guests.
5. Problem-solving: Address any issues that arise during events, such as technical difficulties or scheduling conflicts.
6. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure the safety and security of attendees.

1. Language Skills: Fluent in Tamil to effectively communicate with stakeholders, attendees, and vendors who primarily speak Tamil.
2. Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding Tamil culture to ensure events are culturally appropriate and respectful.
3. Vendor and Supplier Management: Ability to negotiate and communicate with Tamil-speaking vendors for services, contracts, and supplies.
4. Audience Engagement: Design and implement strategies to engage Tamil-speaking audiences effectively.
5. Translation and Interpretation: Provide translation or interpretation services during events as needed.
6. Marketing and Promotion: Develop marketing materials or strategies tailored to Tamil-speaking communities if the events are targeted towards that demographic.

Must be ready to work in Sunday/Public holidays, many of our events fall on Sunday and Public holidays and ready to work in rotational shifts and holidays.
