Title: Skilled Operator / Production Operator

Salary: Circa £30,000 - £35,000 (Training & Progression Available)

The Company:

Due to growth, this prestigious family run manufacturing company is now seeking a skilled production operator to join their team on a permanent full time basis. Over the next few months alone, they are planning to input millions of pounds worth of investment into manufacturing equipment on site in order to automate the bulk of the production process. They will also be expanding their products and introducing new production lines to improve efficiency and the overall profitability of the company.

The Role:

You will be working within a small close knit team taking responsibility for the smooth running of production and ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standard. This will include operating and maintaining both the manual and automated machinery onsite. You will also be in charge of quality checks, in process controls and inspections, resetting and alterations, interpreting engineer drawings and general machinery cleaning and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in tooling / industrial manufacturing environments e.g. molding, CNC machinery or plastic manufacturing would be an advantage.
• Able to provide evidence of showing initiative / showing preventative maintenance.
• Previous experience operating/running production/process machinery
• Health and safety knowledge
• Previous experience as a machinist / setter or maintenance technician (desirable)

Title: Forklift Operator / 360 Excavator Operator

Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire

Shifts Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (with additional weekend work)

Salary: Circa £39,000 per annum (including allowance) + 10% Bonus + Overtime Available

The Company:

My client is a national energy recovery company, with over 300 sites across the country. This ethical, sector leading firm is seeking a 360 excavator / forklift operator with industrial / manufacturing / construction industry or similar environment work experience to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Traffic management & Operating heavy plant
• Operating forklift trucks and other machinery as required
• Weighbridge operation & Conducting plant checks
• Managing Tipping Hall operations
• Assist with all shutdown activities within the plant, ensuring plant downtime is minimized; carry out front line maintenance to maintain plant availability.
• Operate weighbridges (including automated systems), weigh vehicles, and complete tickets as required.
• Report any potential safety issues and control hazards as required.
• Carry out risk assessments to ensure activities are completed safely at all times.
• Carry out regular housekeeping to ensure a high standard of site cleanliness.

Requirements:

• Expertise in operating mobile equipment
• Certification in lifting/slinging or forklift truck (FLT) operation
• Hold a valid 360 excavator licence or loading shovel ticket.
• Knowledge of safe work systems, work permits, procedures, risk assessments, and relevant safety documentation
• Capacity to think critically and effectively resolve problems efficiently

Randstad are looking for a reliable Hoist Operator with a valid CSCS card to start immediately paying £17ph - £18ph

Duties:

• Observing signals and operating a hoist or gantry in lowering, raising or moving workers, materials and equipment
• Making daily safety checks on hoist equipment and cables
• Maintaining a close watch of the hoist during operation
