About the role:

The FIS Convertible Bond Services (Monis) team focuses on the modeling, pricing, trading and risk management of convertible securities and other hybrid equity-linked instruments.

We provide a range of products and services including analytic libraries, software products and terms and conditions data to help clients who are originating, trading and managing portfolios of convertible structures and the associated asset classes for their hedging and risk management. Used by more than 150 institutions and over 70 hedge funds, we are widely regarded as the benchmark for the convertible securities market.

• We are a client facing function, a first line of defense/interface into FIS eco system for our clients – to address Software/Infra issues, understand/clarify product behavior etc.
• We have follow-the-sun model in place (24X7), we are primary team for APAC & ME clients,

What you will be doing

• Provide level 1 and level 2 Application Product Support for FIS financial applications.
• Ensure timely resolution or escalation within SLA. This includes creating a positive customer support experience and building strong relationships through understanding the problem, communicating promptly on progress and handling customer with a professional attitude.
• Liaise with development team to get the fix for critical issues in timely manner.
• Experience of, or at least an interest in, project delivery. Both change requests and onboarding new clients.

• Analyses the data and find the root cause of the problem in case of any issues on production application environment.
• Providing support on requests as per priority/severity created in ticketing tool as part of daily operations support.
• Consulting with the software development team, internal users, and clients to improve application performance.
• Providing the resolution to the client on the issue reported by analyzing the logs and JAVA code.
• Analyzing the data by querying the SQL server and provide the fixes to the clients.

• Hands on Experience in Java OOPS
• Good Understanding of Spring MVC, Spring Frameworks of designing the J2EE Application
• Should be able to understand and debug the code using the IDE
• Should be able to troubleshoot configuration (Jboss server/TOMCAT) issues with deployed applications
• Should know the basic of the XML (configuration file)
• Should be able to understand and debug on Java/J2EE platform

Skills

• Should know the basics of JAVA, Spring MVC, Spring Frameworks, Hibernate

Team is responsible for handling Direct/Send point and FXD setup tasks and part of FXD/ Direct team. FXD is basically mobile express deposit for the users. Candidate will be working on X937 setup, data extract, new Send Point branch setup / installation/ Configuration, FXD user setup and adding branches for clients.

What you will be doing:

• Develops understanding of and defines client products and services through information gathering sessions to determine how FIS systems must be established to meet client needs.
• Through data analysis, product mapping and interviews, gathers forms and data files from customer and assesses requirements for software utilization and discusses any software customization requirements with programming team.
• As part of the conversion process, tests customized software against customer specific needs sharing reports and application specific data with customers that reflect how conversion data will be processed. Reviews conversion results (reports, balancing, data load, software changes) with client.
• Examines client processes, forms and reports, determines operational needs and documents what software will do and all related processes, forms, reports, etc. to be used after conversion is complete.
• Carefully examines data and reports to make sure conversion is proceeding correctly, runs test scripts with various data to see how new or customized transactions process through the software.
• Customizes FIS software through the use of authoring tools to meet individual customer needs – modifies screens and data fields, creates new forms, screens, product sets, tables, etc.
• Throughout project, provides expertise to answer questions and guide clients in the use of the system.

• Overall experience of 5-10 years
