Role Summary:
The Production Supervisor directs activities within the Disassembly and Assembly team as it relates to production, testing criteria, quality, safety & on time delivery. He/She must understand the mechanics of valves, proper disassembly and documentation, proper assembly, complex instrumentation, complete valve builds and troubleshooting. These highly motivated individuals ensure efficient high-quality production while promoting and working safely within established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Basic knowledge of CNC programming.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools (AMEF, VSM, 6's, SMED, etc).
- Statistical control of the process.
- Production planning in different work centers.
- Management of KPIs (utilization, efficiency, productivity, scrap, rework).
- Analysis for the solution of problems in lean manufacturing.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel.
- Microsoft Project or similar.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools (AMEF, VSM, 6's, SMED, etc).
- Other duties as assigned.
- Able to assist Customers with troubleshooting and technical questions.
-Needs to tear down and assemble valves when workload requires it, particularly in turnarounds. ---Capable of disassemble and assembly of valves with and without valve layout (in some cases).
-Make sure all techs have operating/testing procedures on hand.
Requirements:
- Mechanical or industrial engineer.
- Experience with ISO-9000-14000
- Desirable knowledge of welding standards (AWS, ASME)
- BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experience
