SALARY: £33,150 - £41,691 per annum (£17.00 - £21.38 per Hour) (depending on experience) + Overtime + Annual Bonus + Benefits (includes 25 Days Annual Leave, Plus Bank Holidays and Half Day on Friday’s)
LOCATION: Brentwood, Essex
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 37.5 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Toolmaker / CNC Machine Operator / Manual Miller / Milling Operator with a well-established company in Brentwood, Essex.
The company is one of the leading suppliers for carbide tooling within the roof tile industry and is looking for a Toolmaker / CNC Machine Operator / Manual Miller / Milling Operator who would be open to learning multiple stations within the business such as Brazing and Surface Grinding.
As the Toolmaker / CNC Machine Operator / Manual Miller / Milling Operator you will need to be hardworking with the ability to manage your own workload.
As a successful candidate the company will also be able to offer training on their XYZ Bed Mills, as well as the potential of training up on CAD / CAM.

DUTIES
Your duties as a Toolmaker / CNC Machine Operator / Manual Miller / Milling Operator include:
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprint
• Design, manufacture, and repair precision tools, jigs, and fixtures
• Operate manual milling machines to produce precision parts and components
• Perform milling operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and maintaining machinery in optimal condition
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools
• Once trained, unless you already have experience carry out brazing and surface grinding when required
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Strong skills in manual milling
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and precision
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Team player with the ability to manage your own workload
• Any previous experience with Brazing or Surface Grinding would be highly desirable, although not essential – training will be provided
