This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and forward thinking organisation. The aim of the Workforce, training and education (NHSE) oversees the delivery of workforce development and transformation opportunities alongside supporting multi-professional education and training. NHSE supports the delivery of excellent healthcare and health improvement to the patients and public of England by working collaboratively with health and social care stakeholders to ensure the workforce of today and tomorrow has the right numbers, skills, values and behaviours, at the right time and in the right place.
To work as a member of the NHS England (NHSE) South Workforce Planning and Intelligence team, providing services to NHSE and Sustainability and Transformation Partnerships (ICSs) portfolios and teams.
To be responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of data relating to strategic workforce planning, to ensure there is compliance with national and local requirements and to make assessments and recommendations for future requirements of the local health economy.
To support the work of NHSE programmes and projects and the NHSE wide workforce planning process.
To extract data from national and other relevant data sources and be the expert user for the region.
Specific objectives for the job holder will be agreed through the process of individual performance reviews.
