Responsible for enabling the smooth running of projects/programmes by supporting Project/Programme Lead through the operation of project management process, and the co-ordination of business management actions and activities on their behalf. Responsible for monitoring and communication of project spend and contribute to the financial delivery of the service ensuring it is cost effective and delivered on time. Responsible for preparing regular project status reports for senior management and other stakeholders. They must provide updates on project milestones, budget status, and any issues or concerns that may impact project delivery. Responsible for identifying and managing project risks, including developing risk mitigation strategies and monitoring risk levels throughout the project. They must proactively address any potential risks that could impact project outcomes. Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes. They must ensure that all project documentation is organised and accessible to all team members. Adhering to all NHS policies and procedures related to project management, procurement, and data protection. They must ensure that all project activities are conducted in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines. To be responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of data relating to strategic workforce planning, to ensure there is compliance with national and local requirements and to make assessments and recommendations for future requirements of the local health economy.

To support the work of NHSE programmes and projects and the NHSE wide workforce planning process.

To extract data from national and other relevant data sources and be the expert user for the region.
