The Project Manager, Solutions, will be a part of the Sports Venue and Live Entertainment vertical market team at Ross - in its initiative to increase sales of Ross Video technology in these market spaces. This key role in the Sales organisation requires a unique blend of pre-sales engineering / solutions architecture, customer facing “soft skills”, and post-sale project management ability. Participates and contributes to sales opportunities driven by the Vice President of Sports & Live Events and APAC Regional Sales Managers, prioritising efforts based on maximizing total impact on the team’s productivity.
Pre- and post-sale project management/deployment for systems oriented and highly technical projects, including:
Establishing and maintaining processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.

Understanding clients’ main goals, finding the problem/solution for each project, managing timelines, managing client expectations, and interpreting their needs to work towards a successful outcome.
Developing and maintaining partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and integrators
Assigning and monitoring resources to ensure project efficiency and maximise deliverables
Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
Scopes technical solutions to address customer requirements, assess customers met and unmet needs, and recommend solutions that optimise value for both the customer and Ross Video.
Coordinates closely with Ross’ internal Sales team and business partners to align solutions designed to meet customers’ business requirements.
Generates localised sales tools on various mediums for internal and external distribution (PowerPoint’s, Application Notes, Competitive Guides, etc.).
Engages in customer-facing product presentations, demos, training, and workflow guidance to end-users and business partners at customer premises or tradeshows.
Ensures the Sales and Marketing of product line follows the Ross Video Code of Ethics.
Help to prepare world-class customer-facing proposal supplements.
Acts as a “Technical Evangelist” to help build trust and inspiration with our partners and customers.
Assists the Services team with internal/external training and commissioning, as required.
Provides client feedback to Marketing Product Manager(s) on product & application requirements.

The salary range for this role is:
Annual base salary: AUD 90,000.00 to AUD 117,520.00

Who you are:
Four (4) year degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum 5 years of combined sales, sales engineering, systems application, product specialist, or end user experience.
Record of achievement and technical solution expertise in a customer-facing environment.
Understanding of the Sports Venue Production Control Room, Live Venue Display, and Sports Broadcast workflows.
Possess strong knowledge of industry standard protocols, connectors and terminations.
Technical and operational knowledge of Graphics systems, Sports Data feeds, Playback Servers, Production Switchers, Scalers, Routers, Device Control protocols, and the roles they play in various applications.

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Essential (at appointment): Educated to at least HNC level or equivalent, EUSR trained or possess equivalent passport.
• Contract/Project Management experience
• Experience in Electrical installations both industrial and commercial
• Understanding of power distribution systems / standby power systems including diesel generators, Ex rated equipment, lighting motors etc.
• Experience and understanding of Potentially Explosive Atmospheres and COMPEX.
• Detailed understanding of the Safe Control of Operations procedures (SCO/91 & SCO/94) and has undertaken role of Competent Person.
• Detailed understanding of EL/96 for all work types.

We have some exciting opportunities for 2 x Electrical Project Engineers, specialising in Electrical engineering projects on hazardous area installations across the UK. You will be home start. The client owns and operates the National Transmission system (NTS). This consists of 7600km of large diameter high pressure natural gas pipelines, gas terminals, compressor stations and above ground installations (AGI’s).

The primary role is to deliver capital projects to Time, Cost, and Quality within project governance requirements to ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental issues are managed throughout the project.

This role will have end to end accountability for the definition, development, delivery, and closure of investment projects for Gas Transmission, ensuring that delivery of projects which meet all safety, environmental, functional performance, financial performance, and regulatory requirements.

The daily duties will be as follows:

• Lead on design management activities, ensuring the designs are compliant with National Gas technical specifications and are authorised in accordance with the National Gas modification process (‘G/35 process’).
• Complete design ‘stakeholder reviews’ of Contractor’s design submissions to ensure these meet National Gas contract scopes and technical requirements.
• Support development and/or review of electrical designs for temporary electrical supplies.
• Liaise with all members of the project team (including contractors) to complete works in line with the programme.
• Attend factory visits and support the review of associated quality documentation.
• Support with resolution of issues that arise during site activities.
