specializing in the delivery of high-quality projects across residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors. Daily tasks include
• General project administration to ensure all project documents (e.g., scope changes, variations, updated construction drawings, and selections) are properly organised and up to date.
• Managing all project-related purchasing orders and labour allocation to keep the project on schedule, working closely with builders and suppliers. Providing administrative support to the onsite teams.
• Overseeing the quality control of completed projects by identifying defects, proposing solutions for rectification, reporting variation costs for approval, and submitting final completion documents and manuals for handover.
• Reviewing and reporting variation costs at each stage, adjusting the contract price, and obtaining approval from the builder.
• Responding to tender queries and clarifications during the post-tender stage, including providing cost breakdowns, scope details, trade inclusion checklists, and attending tender interviews as needed by the builder or client. Negotiating with the builder and architect to propose cost-saving alternatives.
• Regularly working with the project manager and site supervisor through systems like Oracle Aconex, Procore, or HammerTech to track project progress and provide necessary responses.
• Participating in project quotations (take-offs), issuing RFIs (requests for information) to architects regarding drawing designs and specifications.
Requirements:
1) Diploma in related area such as Project Management or Business Administration, Construction Management or Engineering;
2) At least 1 year of work experience in a relevant area
3) Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
4) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience liaising with clients,
5) contractors, teams, and stakeholders;
6) Proficiency with project management tools/software such as CostX and Microsoft Office;
7) A high level of attention to detail and problem-solving ability;
8) Previous experience in the specific industry of the company is highly desirable;
Annual salary: $73,150 - $80,000 + superannuation (38 proposed hours of work per week)
