Job Description:

• Responsible for achieving the stipulated sales target.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Tertiary qualifications with minimum 5 years' sales experience in Logistics.
• Effective verbal and written communications in English and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with clients, carriers, other forwarders, vendors.
• Ability to research identifies, tackle, grow and close business opportunities ensuring the needed support from product and operations.
• Results-driven, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Great negotiation, consultative and relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage priorities, be organized, methodical and deal well under pressure.

• Maintains numerous computerized data files, using various software programs.
• Receives visitors and telephone calls and refers them to proper person or furnishes information requested.
• Assists in maintaining hand receipt inventory for Area Engineer, posting new property, sub hand-receipting property to other employees.
• Maintains up to data files on all documentation and directives pertinent to contract administration as well as office administration.
• Serves as principal receiving agent for supplies, materials, equipment and non-personal services.
• Works with and administers financial management systems.

As a Supervisory Attorney Advisor at the GS-0905-13, some of your typical work assignments may include:

• Coordinate Account Department legal activities with all other sections of the Processing Disbursement Center (PDC) to assure smooth and timely file flow between departments; as directed, coordinate with other SBA offices and agencies involved in disaster assistance.
• Monitor and evaluate home, business, and economic injury disaster loans for compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and administrative guidelines.
• Analyze departmental legal performance and identify problems in all phases of the operation and recommend corrective actions.
• Assure effective inter-and intra-department communications and resolve disagreements among subordinates.
• Ensure that all information provided to loan applicants by department is accurate and consistent.
• Serve as a supervisor to legal staff such as attorney-advisors, paralegal specialists, and other legal support staff.

• Employee's residing within commuting distance of the PDC may be required to physically report to the PDC five days per pay period or more often as determined by Department Management.
• Mandatory Overtime: In order to respond quickly and efficiently to disaster survivors, substantial compensated overtime hours may be required while on assignment (up to seven days a week and ten to twelve hours a day).
• The PDC Ft. Worth, TX location is conveniently located near the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and DART/TRE Station. In addition, employees are eligible to apply for transportation subsidy to utilize the local DART/TRE bus/rail transit system.
• This is an Excepted Service position and is not in the competitive service.
