Job Title: Project Manager- Office Block Refurbishment
Location: Pocklington
Salary: £300- £320 per day CIS (Based on Experience)

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to oversee the refurbishment of an office block in Pocklington. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction sites, particularly with office fit-outs or refurbishment projects. Moreover, you must have experience with externals including steel fixing or cladding. You will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of safety and quality.
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for client liaison and health and safety inspections.
Key Responsibilities: - Site Supervision: Oversee daily site activities to ensure the smooth progress of the office block refurbishment.
- Project Management: Ensure project milestones are met according to the schedule.
- Health & Safety: Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with H&S regulations, including conducting risk assessments and site inspections.
- Quality Control: Ensure the quality of workmanship meets the specified requirements and industry standards.
- Coordination: Manage subcontractors and direct labour on-site, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Problem Solving: Address any on-site challenges, liaising with project stakeholders to find solutions.
- Budget Management: Monitor and control project costs, ensuring the project remains within budget.
- Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Key Requirements: - Proven experience as a Project Manager on office refurbishment projects or similar construction works.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and health & safety standards.
- Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificate.
- CSCS card (Site Manager level).
- First Aid at Work certification.
- Experience in managing project budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- IT proficiency, including experience with project management software (e.g Asta Powerproject).
- Must have NEBOSH or other health and safety certifications
