Established in 1899 the Australia Hotel in Fremantle's East End is one of Freo's traditional Aussie pubs complete with public bar and beer garden.
Enjoy a cold beer or a tasty meal in the lobby of the heritage listed on Beach Street that overlooks Fremantle Harbour. Pool tables, happy hours and weekly food specials make it a favourite for locals.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Manager to join our team.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing daily operations to ensure seamless restaurant functioning.
• Collaborating with the chef on menu planning and event coordination.
• Monitoring food and service quality standards consistently.
• Enforcing health and safety protocols within the restaurant.
• Maintaining a high standard of presentation and cleanliness throughout the premises.
• Recruiting, training, and supervising team members.
• Engaging with customers to gather feedback and enhance service quality.
• Developing strategies to boost revenue and control costs.
• Assisting staff by managing reservations and taking orders when needed.
You will have:
• prior full-time and relevant industry experience of at least 1 year.
• an acceptable qualification to Diploma or higher with
• appropriate rights to work full time in Australia.
• organisational, team management, budgeting, customer management skills
An annual salary between $74,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation will be paid to the right candidate.
