Service: Customer Support Services - ICT

Argyll and Bute Council is seeking to recruit an ICT Project Leader to undertake a specialist and key role within the ICT Projects & Liaison Team to support both the operation of existing large Council systems and to provide a lead in projects that require significant ICT expertise, such as in the introduction of new or replacement systems and technologies. This is a full time post working 35 hours per week and can be based in Helensburgh or Lochgilphead.
The post holder will support the ICT Projects & Liaison Manager to deliver high quality, efficient and effective ICT services to the Council and to fulfil the team’s service objectives and plans by working in partnership with colleagues, within and outwith the service. The ICT Project Leader will be required to apply effective formal project management methods to best ensure project success.

This post is classed as remote which means the successful post holder will be allocated a base within Argyll and Bute and will be expected to attend the office for a limited number of meetings and events during the year. For the majority of their working time, they will be able to choose to work from home or from their agreed office base.
