Summary:

The Product Owner will oversee the end-to-end delivery and operations of data analytics products and solutions.

Acting as both a strategist and liaison, this role bridges business objectives with technical requirements, driving the roadmap for analytics initiatives.

Job Description

• Project support: Oversee and support project management activities, including planning, timeline monitoring, and budget tracking, to ensure timely completion of projects for regulatory submissions.

About ASEF Communications Department (COM)

COM promotes Asia-Europe cooperation by raising awareness and knowledge about ASEF, ASEM and Asia-Europe relations. Aimed at a diverse range of constituencies including the media and general public, COM’s activities foster greater mutual understanding between Asia and Europe. Among the seven thematic areas of ASEF, COM is responsible for Media. Through its projects, COM creates unique networking platforms for the exchange of views and ideas, as well as cooperation among media professionals from Asia and Europe.

COM is also responsible for ASEF’s corporate communications. COM supports the Executive Director on ASEF’s messaging and outreach, and is custodian for ASEF’s brand and identity. It manages the ASEF websites and related digital assets, and coordinates project communication by ASEF Project Departments (PDs) and ASEM-related bodies.

About the Position

ASEF is looking for a hardworking, experienced and creative Senior / Project Executive, who is also a good team player and can contribute to the achievement and furthering of COM’s mission. He/she reports to the Director of Communications and works closely with rest of the COM team.

The appointment is on a one-year contract basis, with an initial 3-month probation period.

In this role, you will be part of Google's transformation team. You will be in multiple domains, drive problem-solving and thought leadership and gain exposure to a wide variety of teams and partners. You will play a critical role working across multiple country, regional and global counterparts to bring structure to ambiguity, build and run exceptional operational processes and shape global programs (and emerging solutions) so that they can have maximum impact in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

You will need to leverage your capabilities in collaboration, problem-solving, insight generation and operations management to develop clear and actionable strategies to accelerate growth of Google’s critical products, features and programs.

• Gather Asia Pacific (APAC) competitive and marketplace data and shape into actionable intelligence and insights that will support executive team discussions and decisions.
• Lead the problem structuring and projects to orchestrate Marketing Operations (MO) planning, Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and activation programs in APAC. Shape and then advocate Global MO strategies and programs in APAC.
• Design and deploy operational infrastructure and processes to pivot from product first to MO first solutions.
• Contribute to strategy and lead deployment autonomously of emerging or business generation for products and solutions.
• Engage and influence executive stakeholders and cross-functional partners to obtain support for MO strategies or activation programs.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in management consulting, business operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in influencing and managing senior-level and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of business, digital advertising, including YouTube.
• Ability to make decisions in a fluid and ambiguous environment.
• Ability to work and collaborate with various teams and work towards a common goal.
• Ability to convey complex issues clearly.
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, communication, written and presentation skills.
