The purpose of this role is to lead on the delivery of cancer access targets, service improvement programmes and internal clinical pathways within the DAS Division.
Integral to the success of this role is performance monitoring and intervention to ensure delivery of the performance management framework. This will be achieved by working alongside the Divisional Director, Divisional Directors of Operations, Clinical Leaders, the Cancer Services Team and Service Manager colleagues to ensure robust systems and processes are in place.
This post holder will have specific responsibility for improving the performance across a portfolio of cancer priorities. They will play an instrumental role providing programme management expertise to co-ordinate the programme work-streams, leading and supporting individual specialties’ service redesign projects to sustainably achieve the required performance.
