Meaningful Work From Day One
Senior Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for maintaining item forecasts through statistical modeling, as well as enhancing the demand plan with market, promotion and distribution intelligence gathered from cross functional partners in Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain. The Senior Demand Planning Analyst will facilitate and actively participate in the monthly IBP consensus forecasting, and Step 2 meetings, gather, and document assumptions, signal demand for production planning, communicate key changes and plan drivers across the org., and assist in executing the demand plan. This analyst is equally comfortable in systems and data, forecast modeling, and steering and influencing the consensus building process.

What You Can Expect

• Facilitates and actively participates within the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) demand consensus meetings, incorporating input from Sales and Marketing. Highlight plan changes, document assumptions and risks/opportunities to plan.

• Prepares and presents Demand Planning key performance indicators during IBP Consensus meetings with commercial regional, Brand and Senior Leadership.

• Participates in cross functional IBP alignment meetings with key business partners and effectively communicates information to help influence the consensus forecast by telling a story with data, trends, and analysis.

• Maintains brand - bottle size projections  within the forecasting system, ensures quality of the data loaded in SAP - APO.

• Analyze business processes and work with IT partners developing new tools using existing data visualization technology (Tableau) to enhance forecasting discussions.

• Will measure the forecast reasonableness, monitor the demand history, and analyze forecast accuracy. Communicate with supply managers to translate forecasts into supply network plans for Brown-Forman Beverages Worldwide brands.

• Interpret business drivers that affect forecast / supply chain performance and communicate the impact / risks across the organization.

• Generates ad hoc reports and databases as required by relevant stakeholders in the commercial and supply chain areas.

What You Bring to the Table

• College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent); Supply Chain, Business or related discipline.

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3 - 5 years Supply Chain Demand Planning or related supply chain business experience; or 6 - 10 years of combined education and Supply Chain Planning or related supply chain planning experience.

• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with a broad range of business associates.

• Experience with influencing a diverse group of professionals, with different priorities to a consensus. Quantitative and Analytical Skills with the ability to apply common sense.

• Demonstrated success utilizing Sales and Operations Planning/Integrated Business Planning (S&OP/IBP).

• Experience with demand planning, data visualization and spreadsheet software (i.e. SAP, Oracle, Tableau and advanced Excel).

• Familiarity with the inventory planning concepts and supply chain process improvement.  Experience with forecasting algorithms.

• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.

• Passion to drive continuous improvement.

• Ability to develop and adapt to new processes.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with heavy or uneven workloads, shifting priorities, and deadlines.

• Ability and willingness to travel 10-15% of the time including international travel.

The School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) invites applications for the position of Project Officer. 

The Project Officer will provide support to i-Lab in various areas, including equipment procurement, personnel management, website maintenance, and media outreach. The successful candidate will receive a 1-year contract with the possibility of long-term renewal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitating equipment procurement, personnel recruitment and onboarding, and travel arrangements.

• Overseeing the management of research accounts.

• Maintaining and updating the laboratory website and LinkedIn page.

• Conducting English proofreading of scientific documents to ensure accuracy and clarity.

• Providing general administrative support, such as organizing meetings, managing correspondence, and assisting with other ad hoc tasks as required, to contribute to the smooth functioning of i-Lab operations and foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Job Requirements:

Meaningful Work From Day One

Manage, facilitate, and coordinate Supply Chain inventory planning, reporting, and analysis process for Brown-Forman.

What You Can Expect

• Participate as a key member of the Sales & Operation Planning team and work in conjunction with Supply Chain, Production Operations, Marketing / Sales, Finance, and Customer Service management to support the supply chain management process.

• Manage supply chain inventory levels and replenishments.   Monitor network inventory levels and requirements, replenishing inventory to meet Supply Chain Planning targets including inventory investment, customer service levels, and transportation efficiencies.

• Communicate with demand planners/plant master schedulers to translate forecasts into supply requirements for all brands within Brown-Forman’s portfolio.

• Conduct ongoing reconciliations and audits to ensure inventory reporting balances to Brown-Forman’s perpetual inventory balances.

• Evaluate demand plans vs. actual activity, plan inventory centers warehouses that meet supply chain requirements to assigned production facilities and suppliers in goals/metrics, and provide updated supply replenishments to network distribution.

• Maintain the inventory planning model which includes SKU maintenance, parameter maintenance, and network maintenance, including business support of the weekly forecast release and SNP planning run.

• Lead and manage the Network Supply portion of Brown-Forman’s Sales & Operations Planning process - reporting aged and un-saleable inventory, obsolete and/or de-listed materials to reach consensus on disposition. - planning re-packs as required.

What You Bring to the Table

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 3+ years Supply Chain Planning or related business experience; or minimum 7+ years of combined education and experience. 

• Supply Chain Network Planning utilizing SAP’s Advanced Planning and Optimization software or equivalent Supply Chain Planning software.

• Demonstrated success utilizing Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.

• Successful track record using S&OP, APO, and standard inventory planning processes in support of supply chain effort.

• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with a broad range of business associates.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a heavy emphasis placed on the ability to diagnose/solve problems.

• Familiarity with the concepts of system analysis/design and process improvement.

• Ability to apply standard analytical concepts and inventory planning methodology.

The centre is seeking to hire a project coordinator to manage administration activities. The candidate would be responsible for providing efficient procurement, financial and administrative support, closely guided by policies and guidelines.  The project coordinator plays a key role in successful planning, execution, and completion of active projects within the Centre.  This includes monitoring the project budgets and evaluating purchase and procurement requests.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall coordination of research projects. This includes resource planning and scheduling to ensure successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and timely completion of projects.

• Preparation of data required for reporting.

• Updates and maintains database for research projects.

• Processes procurement documents, reimbursement claims, invoices etc in accordance to the University’s guidelines.

• Tracks status of all financial requests, documents, and work closely with NSS Procurement and Finance to follow up on all procurement and financial matters.

• Assists in the tracking of expenses and monitor the budget utilization of the projects.

• Assists in the coordination of audit process and preparation of audit documents.
