Red Oak Sourcing is a 50/50 stand-alone joint venture between CVS Health and Cardinal Health, built upon a state-of-the-art data analytics platform for sourcing generic pharmaceuticals. Red Oak is one of the largest pharmaceutical sourcing entities in the United States and responsible for securing generic pharmaceutical products for over 9,000 CVS retail locations, Caremark mail-order facilities, and the Cardinal Health pharmaceutical distribution network of independent pharmacies, hospitals, and long-term care facilities.

Position Summary

The Strategy & Analytics team helps shape the generic pharmaceutical sourcing strategy for Red Oak Sourcing, a 50/50 joint venture between two Fortune 15 companies – Cardinal Health and CVS Health. The team is seeking a Senior Analyst to help run a wide variety of ongoing and ad hoc projects that inform both daily generic pharmaceutical sourcing operations and longer-term strategy and data innovation. Success in this role requires strong analytics skills, experience with key data tools, and the ability to work collaboratively across business functions. Experience working in the industry (e.g., pharmaceuticals, healthcare, etc.) is also a plus. The Senior Analyst will have the opportunity to learn about an important segment in the healthcare space at one of the most innovative companies in the industry.

Reports to: Senior Manager | Strategy & Analytics

Location: Hybrid work model (office located in Foxboro, MA) in which Monday's and Friday's are work-from-home (remote) and Tuesday through Thursday are in-office

Core Responsibilities

1. Analytics & Insights

― Understand how product, supplier, and industry dynamics may impact Red Oak Sourcing

― Perform ad hoc quantitative analyses across a variety of topics, as well as oversee recurring deliverables

― Compile data and information from multiple sources and translate into meaningful insights

― Communicate findings through appropriate tools (e.g., Tableau dashboards, slide presentations, or reports)

2. Data Infrastructure

― Learn the fundamentals of Red Oak Sourcing’s proprietary data infrastructure

― Work cross-functionally to optimize data workflows

― Digitize and systematize internal knowledge, and integrate this information into standard processes

― Drive internal innovation efforts to make decisions faster and more effectively

― Support change management initiatives to help adopt new information assets (e.g., Tableau)

― Integrate different data sources into Red Oak Sourcing’s database infrastructure

3. Cross-functional Support

― Drive a variety of projects across the organization, such as design sprints and quarterly board meetings

― Support supplier meetings with dynamic portfolio assessments across a variety of metrics

― Execute review of generic portfolio (e.g., identify cost savings, forecast potential changes in product dynamics, model changes in purchasing methodologies, etc.)

― Partner cross-functionally to address business needs and create efficiencies

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field (e.g., business, healthcare, etc.)

• 2-3 years of experience in a related field (e.g., pharmaceuticals, healthcare, etc.) preferred

• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in key analytics and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Alteryx, Microsoft Power Suite, Tableau)

• Exposure to programming languages is a plus (e.g., VBA, Python, R)

• Experience with relational databases and database management fundamentals is a plus

• Strong written communication skills and the ability to clearly present results of complex analyses

• Demonstrated proficiency presenting and communicating to individuals and groups (e.g., via PowerPoint)

• Ability to connect disparate data and information to identify themes and trends

• Experience with innovation methods is a plus (e.g., human centered design, design thinking, systems thinking)

Job Description

DPR Construction is seeking a senior project engineer with a minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience to join our self perform drywall team. Project engineer responsibilities will be on commercial projects within our core markets: advanced technology, commercial, healthcare, higher education and life sciences. Project engineers will work closely with all members of the project team and will be responsible for the following:

Participation and application of DPR’s environmental health and safety plan to constantly maintain injury-free environments including performing weekly safety audits.
Mentor, develop and train team members for fast-paced growth.
Understanding and enforcement of contracts, including between DPR and subcontractors as well as DPR and the owner.
Assist superintendent and project manager in the implementation of DPR policies and the execution of the project.
Organizing the duties of other engineers, field office coordinator, project accountant and other assigned project staff. This includes providing direction, prioritization, and performance feedback.
Participation in trainings and company meetings to facilitate individual and company growth.
Organizing and electronically archiving project files for easy access by the project team.
Preparation, monitoring, and updating project schedules. Working with the superintendent to impact the schedule with project constraints.
Preparation, maintenance, and implementation of various document control entities such as daily reports, material procurement logs, submittal logs, as-builts, testing and inspection logs, RFI logs, and change order logs.
Distribution of new drawings, changes, approved submittals, RFI responses, and other project information to all affected parties.
Identifying, assembling, negotiating, and distributing change orders to both the owner and subcontractors.
Preparing agendas, documents, meeting minutes, and actions for various meetings including owner/architect/contractor meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, safety meetings, and staff meetings.
Participating in project cost control. This includes maintaining internal records and working with subcontractors to make sure changes are getting paid.
Preparing owner billing by assembling DPR costs, receiving and reviewing subcontractor invoices and organizing the documents in accordance with the owner’s requirements.

Qualifications

We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess:

Organized work approach with the ability to adapt and adjust as required to support the projects’ current needs.
Detailed knowledge of the assigned project scopes with a 100% hands-on approach.
A desire to seek out and resolve construction problems/conflicts that arise during design and construction phases.
Goal-orientated approach to promptly coordinate and resolve project issues within the project team (including interfacing with designers, engineers, and owners).
Excellent listening and strong communication skills.
Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
Effective participation in team environment.
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (CMiC, Prolog or similar), scheduling software (Primavera or similar) and BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks or similar).
5+ years of experience as a project engineer, preferably within DPR’s core markets and the drywall/interiors scope.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field.
A strong work ethic, a “can-do” attitude and a passion for construction.
This position is salaried.
