Purpose
As a Project Assistant your role sits within the E-Assessment delivery team where you will support a small team of Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers on multiple projects at a time. The team follow Prince 2 methodologies with the flexibility and responsiveness of agile.

What you’ll do
Assist onscreen data checks and validation, maintaining risk logs and action plans whilst keeping timely communication between key stakeholders, through to lessons learned sessions and documentation on completion.
During the set up period between mid-February and mid-May you will be required to work in the office more regularly in the secure area where you will be required to participate in repetitive onscreen work.

Summary
The Project Assistant is responsible for supporting the Assistant Project Manager(s) in all areas of project and series delivery. - including planning, completion of project documentation, distribution of work packages and monitoring of progress to ensure key deliverables and milestones are achieved. There are technical skills required to check and test the series databases and run and mine reports.Landscape:
The Project Assistant reports into the Assistant Project Manager. The role sits with E-Assessment Delivery, this department is responsible for delivery of e-Marker® projects within AQA and to external customers. The role will interact with the Scanning Centre Operations, Electronic Script Processing, Reconciliation, and Technology departments.
Activities:
Delivery of live, limited live and pilot projects to include;
Preparation, delivery, and review of work instructions
Pre-live testing
Handling and preparation of secure materials
Data receipt, conversion, upload, checking and exporting
Daily monitoring of series as required
Undertake issue management and documentation as required
Reporting as required
Preparation and maintenance of demonstration/training components
Cover for other Project Assistants as required.
Liaise with internal teams as required.
Have an understanding of the EAD objectives and deliverables to support the overall strategy.
Actively demonstrate the company values across all department practices, procedures and communications.
Support the delivery of operational excellence and continuous improvement by identifying and proposing changes to existing processes and procedures
Adhere to project governance and controls.
Risk Management – Participate in the identification, assessment, mitigation and management of threats and opportunities for assigned projects.
Information Security – take an active part in the preservation of confidentiality, availability and integrity of information assets used in conducting the role and follow additional security procedures associated with specific activities where applicable.
Asset management – ensure that tools, materials, systems and software are used in line with company policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will need to know:
