The role
As an Assistant Production Planner, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. This is an entry level position, where you will learn and develop new skills in project planning.
Day to day, you'll assist the planning manager in the coordination and planning of multiple diverse engineering projects within the dockyard.
- Review data.
- Reporting.
- Prepare for meetings.
- Shadowing during meetings.
- Eventually develop to perform project planning duties.
Essential experience of the Assistant Production Planner:
- Previous administration or coordination role.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Competence in collating data.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- People focussed.
This is a full-time role, 36 hours per week, hybrid working. You can work from home the majority of the time, with time on site for meetings (or more often if you prefer).
Qualifications for the Assistant Production Planner:
- GCSE, English, Maths, Science - Grade C minimum
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
