About the Role:
Base Location: Perth or Aberdeen.
Salary: £37,075 - £43,063 + a range of benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible Working options available.
SSEN Transmission has an opportunity for a Lead Project Information Officer to play a pivotal role in the management and control of project/business documentation across a wide range of projects.
The key duties & responsibilities in order to support the team of Project Information Officers will include:
- Setting clear priorities for the team and individuals, to lead, inspire and develop under a framework of clear performance objectives and expectations.
- Support the Information team with daily queries and workload, escalating any non-conformances or issues to the Project Information Manager where applicable.
- Assist with KPI reporting across projects as required, escalating any outstanding deliverables with project teams as necessary.
- To be the business expert in SSEN Transmission for document management encompassing business processes and systems.
- Serving as a technical expert, you will work with internal and external stakeholders, providing Document Control support for the full lifecycle of projects within load and non load related capital investments.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Extensive experience within a similar role with a full understanding, awareness and experience of standard document control best practices and processes.
- Experience in a construction, engineering, project management, or related field and ideally educated to National Level NVQ5.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing software and experience in the use of electronic document management systems. Viewpoint and ACC Autodesk Construction Cloud experience is highly desirable.
- Ideally a demonstrable understanding of the Energy industry, gained from past experience as well as through social/professional networking is desirable.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to become the subject matter expert.
