We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and pro-active Level 2 School Business Manager (SBM) to join us. You will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and will work closely with the Headteacher and other senior leaders to strategically lead and manage the school. You will be responsible for the effective leadership and management of the administrative, financial and operational areas of school which are supportive to, but do not involve, the teaching function.

Hours of work are 37 per week, term time only, plus 5 INSET days worked in accordance with service requirements.

You should have:-

• Proven experience in a school administrative or business management role.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with financial and budget management in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of data protection and an understanding of the importance of maintaining confidential information.
• Ability to interpret advice in order to develop policies.
• Experience of utilising analytical skills to interpret information and use initiative to solve problems, within established policies and procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
