Regional Project Manager - Hard FM

Sodexo has a great opportunity for an experienced Regional Project Manager to join our established team based in Southampton on a hybrid working pattern.
Working with our team at their site and homebased, you will be responsible for adopting value driven project management strategies at a project level, across a portfolio of Sodexo Corporate Services contracts. This is achieved through end-to-end management of low to high complexity projects with multi-stream/multi-site requirements across the portfolio as required.
The Project Manager will support the accounts by liaison with client and clients' agents to ensure that the current Statement of Works is adhered to throughout the delivery of projects, as well as maintaining an appropriate level of the Sodexo Project Management Framework (PMF) principles and processes to reflect the needs of the project whilst providing clear & concise updates and communication with client stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to client expectations.
You will be responsible for the management and delivery of end to end mechanical, electrical and fabric projects for a variety of corporate clients and establish a conduit for wider project management best practices in the UK, improving service, integrating functions and enhancing business benefits.
Part of the role will be to manage labour effectively for projects and overseeing third-party relationships within the supply chain for quality & value and Lead or coordinate IFM projects, assigning responsibilities, organising construction personnel and ensuring timely & budget-friendly resource delivery whilst coordinating and reviewing projects to realise efficiencies across the supply chain, meet interdependencies and recommend enhancements to client design standards.
Providing technical guidance & acting as a central point of contact for project works, you will be facilitating decision-making for clients and ensuring projects align with Sodexo's Global Project Management Framework and client-specific processes.
About You
Experience and knowledge requirement for this role:
• Experience in delivery of Hard FM projects
• Strong technical skills, proven project management experience, and an understanding of business issues.
• Demonstrable track record of developing successful operational strategies across a broad portfolio of Hard FM and M&E projects
• Knowledge of approach to statutory legislations, such as CDM and the BSA
• Experience of working in an outsourced IFM environment preferable
• Proven track record of leading and managing experienced operators and large numbers of employees
• Demonstrable experience of forward planning, problem solving, analytical thinking
• Exceptional & effectively oral and written communication skills, both written and verbal English to provide clear direction and excellent active listening skills
• Proven track record of initiating and leading demanding business change programmes
• Motivate/nurture a proactive and positive “can do” attitude and approach at all levels
• Able to work as part of a team or on initiative with attention to detail
• Exceptional client relationship management skills
• Considerable experience in project service delivery
• Proven experience in identifying new business
• Excellent communication, influencing and facilitation skills.
• High standards of numeracy and written communication
• Client focused and decisive with an ability to make decisions comfortably
• Negotiation capabilities and the ability to work under pressure
Qualifications required:
• Project Management Qualification; APM, PMI, Prince2 etc.
