Job Title: Supply Chain Planner (2 positions available)
Location: Peterborough (Hybrid Role)
Contract Length: 12 months (with possible extension)
Rate:
- PAYE rate: £17.95 per hour
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM
Job Overview: We are seeking two motivated Supply Chain Planners to support the team at our Peterborough site. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the office initially, which will later transition to 2 days per week. The role offers an excellent opportunity for those looking to grow within supply chain management in a dynamic environment.
Contract Duration: Initially 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities: - Support the creation of the master production schedule and material plan to meet demand.
- Use MRP (Material Requirement Planning) systems and Master Production Scheduling Systems (training provided).
- Assist with demand forecasting and supply planning.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
Requirements: Must-Haves:
- Proficient in Excel.
- Strong communication skills.
- Numerically capable with an eye for detail.
Desired Skills:
- Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Experience with Oracle systems is a plus.
- Prior exposure to an analytical role.
- Experience in Manufacturing Supply Chain (preferred but not essential).
- Experience in the automotive sector (not required but beneficial).
Candidate Profile: We are open to considering a range of candidates, including junior profiles, graduates, and ex-placement students. Previous experience in a supply chain role, whether through internships or work experience, is preferred but not essential.
